Community relations

Music Bridge is a multi-year community music training programme. The programme is a collaboration between Musicians without Borders and Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin.

As a charity, we rely for income on membership fees, donations and legacies, and revenue raised from our commercial operations. We’re a charity founded in 1895 by three people who saw the importance of our nation’s heritage and open spaces and wanted to preserve them for everyone to enjoy. More than 120 years later, these values are still at the heart of everything we do. We look after special places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for ever, for everyone.

The National Trust North Coast portfolio covers areas from Downhill Demesne, Portstewart Strand to White Park Bay and Cushendun. The New Lodge Housing Forum is an organisation which provide advice and support on all Housing and Environmental issues to the residents of the Greater New Lodge Area. We are an umbrella Body representing 9 Residents Groups in the Area, these being Upper New Lodge, Lower New Lodge Upper Long Streets, Henry Street, Carlisle, Victoria Parade, Duncairn parade, Buralee/Pinkerton and Duncairn Gardens Flats. We liaise between residents and the Housing Executive to provide information, discuss repairs issues and deal with inquiries on all housing related issues.

Newington Residents Group was set up in November 2020. It is ran by residents for residents. The main goals of the group are to improve the local area we live in.

NHS at 70: The Story Of Our Lives is a national programme of work supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and led by The University of Manchester. We are recording stories from people who worked and were cared for by the NHS since its creation in 1948. These stories will be available on our public Digital Archive, which can be accessed by everyone.* The Digital Archive will provide a lasting resource for audiences to discover NHS history through the voices of the people who have worked and were cared for by the NHS since 1948.
