The €1.1m peace building initiative, funded by the EU’s PEACE IV Programme, has exceeded initial targets and broken down religious and racial barriers to help make communities more harmonious.

The Action Cancer Mother’s Day Walk, proudly supported by Avondale Foods, will take place on Saturday 26th March within the beautiful surrounds of Lurgan Park and takes in one full circuit of the park. It is open to anyone who would like to get together with family members ahead of Mothering Sunday and is also an opportunity for those families to come together in a tranquil, peaceful environment and walk in memory of the mums who are no longer with them.
