Lagan Dragons Dragon Boat Club

Lagan Dragons is Northern Ireland’s first ever breast cancer survivor Dragon Boat team, formed in September 2015, with training sessions from Belfast Boat Club, 12 Lockview Road, Belfast. Our team is open and inclusive to all, however, we are primarily made up of breast cancer survivors, family members and medical professionals who have supported us and been involved in our diagnoses and treatment, but we welcome new members of all ages, backgrounds and abilities!

LCCC is a non-profit facility that operates various support projects for the community including Good Morning Larne telephone befriending service for seniors, Larne Crisis Accommodation for homeless families, Community Connections offering advice and support, and children's projects:- Kids Korner Daycare Nursery, Kids Korner Pre Pre-School, Skools Out Afterschool Club, Breakfast Club and Youth Club.

Learning Disability Pride is Northern Ireland's flagship event celebrating people with a learning disability. First held in Carrickfergus in Spring 2017, this year's event is set to be even bigger and better, and will take place on Saturday 22 June in Carrickfergus. Learning Disability Pride will start with a Carnival Parade to Carrickfergus Castle Car Park where there will be a festival atmosphere with live music, dancing, workshops, arts and crafts , family friendly entertainment and accessible activities.
