About CommunityNI

CommunityNI is Northern Ireland's leading opportunities hub for the voluntary and community sector. As a platform to share news, jobs, opportunities and events, CommunityNI promotes the work of the sector to local communities.

Users can add opportunities for individuals, other organisations and the people their work serves, promoting them on a site that receives five million page views a year.

Who uses CommunityNI?

CommunityNI is a free resource for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and people who work in the sector in Northern Ireland.

Organisations in the VCSE and the public sector can create a page to provide information about their organisation and the services they provide, and can post news, events, jobs and opportunities.

Businesses in the private sector that wish to provide products or services to the sector may use some elements of the website such as the organisation page, but are restricted in what content they can post and are unable to post jobs.

Personal account users (people who aren't or don't want to associate with any organisation) can sign up to receive our jobs bulletin and can save posts in their personal folder for later reference, but can't post content.

Why use CommunityNI?

CommunityNI has developed over many years as the most widely-used online resource for the voluntary and community sector to promote its work, and for people looking for a job at a charity or community group.

The service is provided for free and for the benefit of the sector, allowing users to control their own content. It's particularly useful for organisations without a website or other web presence. It helps you to promote the work you're doing and run your organisation efficiently at low cost.

The site attracts over 70,000 visits a month, with over 360,000 active users and 9,000 jobs bulletin subscribers. So why not gain some free advertising for your organisation?
