NCB ensures that children and young people’s views and experiences guide every aspect of our work, helping us to inform policy and practice in order to bring about lasting change for children and young people, families and communities. We do this to fulfil our obligations for the promotion of the rights of all children and young people, recognising that young people are experts in their own lives and that their direct input into issues affecting them is critical in developing services which are fit for purpose.

Developing Participation Skills to work with Young People

Radius Housing is holding a public event to find out the views of the local community and community organisations on plans for a potential new community facility within the Blacks Gate housing development. The event will take place on Wednesday 7th June between 4pm and 7pm in the Courtyard Suite at the Balmoral Hotel on Blacks Road. All interested parties are most welcome. Developed with expertise gained over more than 30 years’ of working directly with survivors of sexual violence, this workshop will explore the nature of rape and sexual violence, specifically relating to adult victims.

SOOC is an exciting new course for parents to have fun and learn about how their children develop their emotional and social skills at home. Parents will learn how to support their children to develop these skills and how these will benefit their children later at school, in their community and throughout their lives.

Linking Generations NI invites you to take part in a Christmas Carol Competition. Top prize- £100 towards a party for the winners! We want younger and older people to come together and sing a Christmas song. All you have to do is link up, sing and upload a video to our Facebook page! Those with the most likes will win prizes!
