This new qualification covers all the skills, knowledge, processes and practice of providing multi-channel advice. It is taught through face-to-face, on-line, placement, and distance learning,allowing opportunities for application, including completion of forms for social security and tax credits.

This exciting new national qualification was piloted last year, receiving high praise from both new and experienced advisers, wishing to refresh their advice knowledge and competence. The 10-day course covers all the skills, knowledge, processes and practice of providing multi-channel advice. It is taught via a face-to-face, on-line, placement, and distance learning approach allowing opportunities for application, including completion of forms for social security and tax credits.

These exciting new qualifications cover the skills, knowledge, processes and practice of providing multi-channel advice in relation to social security benefits in Northern Ireland. The course covers all advice skills required for individuals to meet the Northern Ireland Advice Quality Standard and introduces learners to the core advice topics for generalist advisers.

This course will enable you to become an Adviser in Northern Ireland in line with the Northern Ireland Advice Quality Standard (NIAQS).

Adviser NI is the only qualification in Northern Ireland on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (OfQual/CCEA regulated), designed specifically for the Independent Advice Sector in line with the Northern Ireland Advice Quality Standard. Its thorough regulation provides assurance to employers that the individual meets the high standards in competence, knowledge and skills at Level 4, and as a national qualification is fully recognised across the UK.

As part of Refugee Week, Advice NI will be running the Advising Ukrainian nationals, Immigration advice and information session for Ukrainian nationals

There is a lawful requirement for every licensed premises to make sure that they have an age verification policy relating to the supply of alcohol on their premises. This online age verification training course enables you to complete the legal requirement by providing you with a “model age verification policy” and by detailing each of the procedures you need to follow in order to verify the age and I.D. of younger and younger looking customers.

This course has been designed to comply with the new EU legislation law which came into force in December 2014.
