We are currently recruiting Advice staff across Belfast to support people with a wide range of big issues affecting their lives. Our Goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.

There are opportunities in our Generalist advice work as well as in our projects such as Physical Disability, Welfare Reform, Debt and Macmillan Cancer Support. You will provide informative advice such as social welfare, housing, employment and more, undertake casework, and act for the client where necessary. You will be up to date with new developments, social trends and local needs that might affect demand for advice or require you to make suggestions for service change.

With a sound knowledge and understanding of GDPR and client confidentiality, you will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. With a proven ability to build relationships at all levels, handling well under pressure and being part of a strong team.

We are currently seeking either:

1.           Qualified Advice Staff (Completed Adviser Training Programme (ATP) or OCN Level 4 Advice & Guidance accreditation) with at least one years’ experience of providing advice to the public; £27,286 (Under review from April25); OR

2.           Trainee Advice Staff – We offer a funded training programme for those interested in a career in social justice (Starting salary £21,000 per annum for months 1-3 rising to £24,000 per annum for months 4-6, moving to the full qualified rate as above from month 7, subject to satisfactory progress).
