We are looking to recruit an Advocacy Support Officer for our Belfast Office (Right Support: Right Time) this is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Role Purpose: To work on the Right Support, Right Time project to promote positive mental wellbeing, increase resilience and prevent the deterioration of existing mental and emotional distress in people, families, and communities.  To deliver the right support and develop appropriate networks of support in their local community.

Essential Criteria

Educated to A level/NVQ III standard with 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults in a recognised statutory, voluntary or private agency.

Experience in any one of the following areas:

  • Social work or social care
  • Resettlement
  • Youth/Community work or related support field
