SEXUAL HEALTH & WELLBEING IN A TIME OF COVID-19 This event is funded by the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust to promote positive approaches to improving sexual health and wellbeing. This is a non-profit making event and the £25 delegate rate is to cover costs only

This training session will focus on the process that clients will face if they are unable to resolve financial issues with their landlord or lender. It will discuss the processes at Court level and the powers of the Court & Enforcements of Judgements Office under NI legislation.

This full day intensive course will build on existing or recently trained Advisers' knowledge and understanding of Universal Credit at a higher level or serve to refresh those who have been working with UC on some of the more complex aspects of the benefit.

A claim in the Employment Tribunal can be a daunting process. Many claimants are worried about the possibility of having to pay their opponent’s costs if they are unsuccessful in their claim. At the Law Centre, we receive many queries regarding costs and the risk involved should a claimant pursue their claim. This practitioner-led session will dispel some of the myths about an award of costs at the Employment Tribunal and provide an overview of circumstances where costs could be awarded. The session is aimed at advisers who are looking to increase their knowledge of the Tribunal, or Litigant in Person who are hoping to learn more about the risks involved in submitting their claim.

The aim of the OCN NI Level 3 endorsed course ‘A Guide to Disability Benefits’ is to provide learners with an understanding of Disability Benefits available in Northern Ireland, including the basic skills, knowledge, processes, and practice in relation to various Disability Benefits.

Key content includes: what is Universal Credit (e.g. benefit rules, processes, applications, sanctions); changes to and transitions from other benefits and supports (e.g. Housing Benefit); what Universal Credit means for the claimant (e.g. responsibilities and employability); claimant support (e.g. vulnerability, digital support, and financial capability)
