This specialist level course provides vital guidance for anyone advising clients when Limitations Act might apply and opportunities to find out about the limitation periods and potential challenges including mortgage shortfalls and credit debts. This course will outline the provisions of the Limitations (NI) Order, equip advisers to pursue limitation issues with creditors and enable them to use statute and case law in support of limitation arguments. This one-day course aims to describe the relevance of limitation periods in money advice casework.
