This session will discuss the programmes, schemes and funding that is available in Northern Ireland. We will be taking a look at the services that are in place to support the people of Northern Ireland and help them to increase their employability skills as well as gaining employment opportunities. We will get to know what opportunities are available, eligibility criteria as well as how to get involved with each programme and how it may affect a persons’ benefits. This course assists churches, places of worship, charities and organisations to develop a broad and sound understanding of the safeguarding task specifically in relation to adults at risk of harm. This course is designed to equip you with the necessary tools to create robust safeguarding arrangements. Anyone who works or volunteers directly with adults or in adult focused activities will benefit from this training.
