Boycott your Bed is a replacement for this year’s Byte Night as due to Coronavirus we are unable to hold our yearly sleep out in Belfast. As you know Action for Children’s voluntary income, like many charities, has been hit hard by the pandemic and while we have come up with new products to try and plug that gap we need your help to spread the word and get Northern Ireland signed up! What’s so exciting about this product is that anyone can sign up - it’s one for all the family!

This event is now sold out. Maritime Babies provides babies and their parents & carers with the opportunity to explore materials, sounds, colours and textures in a range of maritime and sea themed activities.

Enjoy some family fun on this trail of the Maritime Mile and explore the area’s industrial giants. Use your treasure map to spot the clues and discover how these ‘Giants’ have played a huge role in the history of Belfast’s Maritime Mile.

On Thursday 9 November 2023, ‘Reimagine Children’s Collective’ – a group of charities working with children, young people and families in NI, will be launching a joint position paper to respond to the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care Services in Northern Ireland. This in-person event will take place at 10:00am – 12:30pm in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Belfast.

NCB ensures that children and young people’s views and experiences guide every aspect of our work, helping us to inform policy and practice in order to bring about lasting change for children and young people, families and communities. We do this to fulfil our obligations for the promotion of the rights of all children and young people, recognising that young people are experts in their own lives and that their direct input into issues affecting them is critical in developing services which are fit for purpose.
