SALARY: NJC Scale Pts 51 – 54 (Currently £61,858 – £65,344)
HOURS: 35 hours per week, flexibility required
LOCATION: Children in Northern Ireland, Unit 9, Montgomery Road, BT6 9HL, Belfast.
Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI) is the regional umbrella organisation for the children’s sector in Northern Ireland. We advocate, empower, and collaborate with partners to ensure every child is valued, treated fairly, and has the opportunity to flourish.
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead CiNI into its next chapter of growth and influence. Reporting to the Board, you will shape our strategic vision, drive effective governance, and strengthen relationships across the sector. This role calls for a transformative leader skilled in organisational development, stakeholder engagement, and financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver CiNI’s strategic plan in collaboration with the Board and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with government, funders, and community organizations.
- Oversee financial management and secure diverse funding streams.
- Inspire and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A degree-level qualification and senior management experience.
- Proven experience in managing significant budgets and resources.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- A deep commitment to CiNI’s core values.
