Reimagining Children’s Social Care Services in Northern Ireland

On Thursday 9 November 2023, ‘Reimagine Children’s Collective’ – a group of charities working with children, young people and families in NI, will be launching a joint position paper to respond to the Independent Review of Children’s Social Care Services in Northern Ireland. This in-person event will take place at 10:00am – 12:30pm in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Belfast.
The Department of Health is currently consulting on the recommendations contained within the Independent Review, led by Professor Ray Jones. We are publishing this joint position paper to help inform individual/organisational responses to the consultation, and to provide space to discuss what next steps the community and voluntary sector can take to support the implementation of the recommendations.
During this event, there will be opportunities to hear from Professor Ray Jones, the charity partners and young people.
