This year Law Centre NI has made some very exciting new changes to the conference.

Over two mornings we will explore four key themes in relation to racial equality: Health; Education & Employment; Poverty; and Leadership. The conference will highlight the contribution of BAME individuals and communities; the inequalities of access and opportunity, and the underrepresentation of BAME individuals and communities in leaderships roles. The event aims to be energizing, inspiring and, as always, participatory. We invite both Stronger Together members and non-members to attend, contribute, share information, experiences, and knowledge, and inspire each other to the work of eradicating racism.

The UK Money Guider Network partners are thrilled to be bringing you a free lunchtime conference for front line practitioners delivering money guidance in their roles. The conference is being offered as part of the Money and Pensions Service’s Talk Money Week campaign (#TalkMoney), which is designed to get the nation talking about money, from pocket money to pensions. In May 2021, MaPS launched four Money Guider Networks (#MoneyGuiders) to support practitioners from a range of sectors across the UK. Forums, workshops, and webinars have been running in each of the nations and now there’s a new opportunity to meet and collaborate with each other. Take your pick from either of the 1.5hr conference sessions or come along to both and network with more people. The conference will bring together our four expert Network partners to explore the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on money guidance and its importance for economic recovery. Quaker Social Action (England), Hafal (Wales), Reed in partnership (Northern Ireland) and The Improvement Service (Scotland) will be sharing their insights on how the Money Guider Networks can support those on the front-line delivering money guidance, to take their help further.

The Stronger Together partnership is delivering a support project on the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), a scheme set to protect the rights of EU/EEA & Swiss citizens to continue to reside and work in NI post Brexit. This project information event will be followed by a multi-lingual EUSS advice clinic. During the event we'll explore the rationale for the scheme and the project; the process of applying to EUSS as well as some pitfalls and barriers which people might face when accessing EUSS. EUSS advisors will also be available to answer individual queries after the information part. Please indicate if you's like to avail of one-to-one advice slot when registering.

This practical training programme will equip service and project leads with the tools and skills they need to evaluate the impact of their service or intervention in a meaningful way. It is suitable for those who need to understand the basics of evaluation, and those who need to enhance their skills in analysing and reporting data to be able to tell their story. The programme is split into 3 sessions, and you can choose to attend online or in person - you can attend an individual session or all 3 depending on your knowledge and experience.

Trans Pride NI Event Celebrating Gender Diversity and Transgender People On the 31st of May and 1st of June 2019 history will be made, when the first multi-event Trans Pride NI Festival takes place, celebrating gender diversity and transgender people at events in Belfast city centre. Themed “Celebrating Gender Diversity” this year’s festivities will include a vibrant and colourful march, discussions and an art exhibition on what it is like to be Trans, Intersex or Non-binary.
