McCOOL’S SuperValu, Ballymoney is putting its best ‘paw’ forward by taking on an almighty trolley dash – 500 miles in 10 days - to raise £10,000 for Action Cancer.

The Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Alderman Hilary McClintock will host a Superhero Day, ‘Pink’ Tea Dance and help paint the town pink as part of an exciting calendar of events in aid of her chosen charities for the coming year.

Alongside Gordons Chemists and Lagan Construction Group, Action Cancer is encouraging outdoor workers to take care in the sun. Building and construction staff to name a few are often exposed to long hours of sun, and are at a greater risk of sun damage.
