Join us Live - Virtually
Online sessions are suited to all ages and abilities. Members and visitors are welcome to join in. It is not necessary to pre-book- simply go to our Facebook page at the scheduled time. A weekly timetable can be found at the top of our Facebook page. If you miss a session, don't worry - mpst of our sessions can be watched back from our page or YouTube channel.
Drama
We have two drama groups taking place each week via Zoom for two different age groups; 6-12 years and 13-19 years. Registration is essential. Get in touch in advance to complete the necessary participation documentation.
All Terrain Wheelchair Loan Scheme
Fancy getting outdoors to enjoy nature? Our all-terrain chairs can be borrowed for 2 weeks to enable our members to get active and access areas where a standard wheelchair may struggle. This loan scheme is subject to availability and pre-booking is essential. Terms and conditions apply. Booking forms are available through our weekly newsletter.
The Overs Aged 20-40 years
Chatty Sessions take place online. These are closed sessions - an opportunity for members to make friends, stay connected and have fun! Sessions take place weekly on Zoom and registration is essential. Get in touch in advance to complete the necessary participation documentation.
Outdoor Events
We aim to facilitate outdoor sessions at private venues, to avoid crowds - subject to COVID-19 restrictions. We always ensure dignified toileting to Changing Places standard is available. Events are announced via our weekly Newsletter and are subject to limited space. Pre-booking is essential. Social distancing and other strict hygiene measures apply.
Early Years Powered Mobility
Moving around independently aids play, development and self esteem. Mae Murray Foundation facilitate clinics in Northern Ireland for both Bugzi and Wizzybug Loand Schemes - loaning powered chairs to young children from 18 months old. Acceptance onto the scheme is subject to assessment by the loan scheme provider. For some more information on the available schemes, contact us!
Teenagers: aged 13-19 years
Chatty sessions take place online weekly. Facilitated by two Team Leaders, these closed sessions are an opportunity for young people to stay connected, make friends and have fun! Activities range from games, music, movie nights and dance to simply catching up. Sessions take place via Zoom and registration is essential. Get in touch in advance to complete the necessary participation documentation.
