Donaghmore District Community Association (DDCA) was formed at the beginning of 2006, and is a combination of various elements of our local community who have all come together to strive towards building a more sustainable future for all

We help build new and healthier futures. We support thousands of retired and retiring police officers to create the future they want after policing. We make a difference to people’s lives by helping them to feel as mentally and physically well as possible. Together, we work in partnership with you to help you see how valuable your skills are to others, and how, with our training support, you can achieve your personal and professional potential.

Kids Company was founded by Camila Batmanghelidjh in 1996. We provide practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children.

Glór na Móna works to provide Irish-medium youth workers with the support, services, advice and representation needed in order to strengthen and develop the Irish-medium youth sector across Belfast.

Anna Clarke is Director of Prospect Community, an independent community development learning consultancy based in Mid Ulster, working across the island of Ireland and further afield. Anna uses a collaborative approach to work with communities, CVSE organisations, and statutory sector agencies to design, deliver and measure the impact of programmes and services that contribute to informing and improving community development practice and supporting social change.

Supported by the Big Lottery Fund and led by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; Grow Wild inspires communities, friends, neighbours and individuals across the UK to come together to transform local spaces, by sowing, growing and enjoying native wild flowers.

Arts Care, founded in 1991, is a unique Arts and Health Charity based in Northern Ireland.

The Falls residents Association works with local residents to deal with issues that affect residents daily lives. Working with statutory agencies to ensure that the best possible service delivery is given to the community.

The Chernobyl Children Appeal is a locally based cross community Charity offering children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster a respite holiday

We are a group of carers who have decided to set up a cross community group in Belleek which will cater for all carers young and old, male and female within the Belleek/ Ballyshannon/ Bundoran area who can meet up once a month in a relaxed fun atmosphere.

UTOPIA project funded by the Big Lottery, offers Creative Learning and Social Activities to help reduce social isolation, improve the mental and physical health and build the confidence and community involvement of older people in the Andersonstown area.

The group’s aims are: To save lives, using suicide prevention and intervention services To provide professional support therapies to people in emotional and mental crisis, experiencing suicidal distress or trauma
