The Gifted Project is the delivery of the Building Positive Relations programme on behalf of the Peace 4 Partnership and Ards North Down Borough Council. This project, working across the Borough, will link urban and rural, and will be delivered in partnership with our friends in Co Down Rural Network, Ards Development Bureau and Co Down Scouts Asssociation.
A project supported by the European Union's Peace IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programme Body
The PEACE IV Programme
The PEACE IV Programme is a unique cross-border initiative, financed through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). It has been designed to support peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland aiming to build upon the experience of previous programmes by tackling the remaining challenges that exist in building positive relationships and developing shared spaces.
We work together with the local community and organisations in and around Ards and North Down to promote positive relations.
We run a number of cross community and cross boarder trips and courses for ages 16-30, through our Peace Gifted programme.
through our Gifted Life programme we run a cross community and cross boarder trips. As well as storytelling workshops where anyone of any age gets to participate in storytelling workshops, through crafts/drama.
