About the Role

Bolster Community is seeking an Employability Support Worker to assist young adults with intellectual disabilities in developing independent living, social, and employability skills through the Positive Transitions programme.

You will provide hands-on support in both classroom and employment settings, working closely with the Employability Tutor, teachers, classroom assistants, and employers to facilitate education, apprenticeship, and employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support in classroom and workplace settings
  • Assist with employment training and independent living skills development
  • Support participants with route training to develop independent travel skills
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and partners
  • Contribute to programme planning, administration, and reporting

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young people with disabilities
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Ability to support employability training and workplace integration
  • Passion for inclusion and personal development
