The Stroke Association are still here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. Alongside Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke we are offering a joint support package for stroke survivors and their families and carers during the Covid-19 emergency. We are continuing to support people remotely and offer:

  • A family support service
  • Financial support through our grants service
  • Weekly support or check-in calls from staff or trained volunteers
  • Online peer support calls and groups
  • Stroke specific counselling 
  • Speech and language support for people with communication difficulties
  • Access to information and advice about coping with the effects of stroke
How to access this support
  • You can access our joint support package by calling 028 9032 0184 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm) or emailing strokesupportni@nichs.org.uk. Your details will be taken and a member of the Family Support Team will call you to discuss what support you need.
