Community Connection - to ensure blind and partially sighted people do not become isolated
Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB NI)Across Northern Ireland
Type of support for people
- Emotional or social support (e.g. befriending)
- Other
We can offer one to one telephone support to blind and partially sighted people across NI. The aim is to avoid isolation and to make people aware of services in their areas and how to access these. We are also offering the opportunity to connect with other blind and partially sighted people by setting up online group activities, for example, coffee mornings, creative writing, quizzes, audio books etc.
