Themed “Celebrating Gender Diversity” this year’s festivities will include a vibrant and colourful march, discussions and an art exhibition on what it is like to be Trans, Intersex or Non-binary.

Wave Trauma Centre

This programme has been designed to explore the development and maintenance of psychological trauma within the Northern Ireland context of the ‘Troubles’.  Students will be provided with an overview of sociological and psychological theories of the impact of trauma on the family system, looking at the influence of trauma on attachment styles and exploring the evidence base for systemic work and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  This programme would be of interest to those working with traumatised individuals and families and those working within conflict and post-conflict contexts.
