Dame Mary Peters is joining with Volunteer Now to raise the profile of two Awards that recognise volunteering by inviting you to an event on 28 June 2012, 2.30pm-4.00pm in Volunteer Now offices at 34 Shaftesbury Square, Belfast, BT2 7DB.

Volunteer Now is partnering with Disney and Youth Service America to offer Disney Friends for Change Grants in Northern Ireland, offering young people aged 5-18 an opportunity to receive a £750 grant to help make a lasting positive change in the world.

Digital Switchover Community Volunteering

Volunteer Now and The Big Lunch are extending a lunch invitation to local community organisations across Northern Ireland to hear about and share ideas on this year’s Volunteers’ Week and the Big Lunch

This FREE training workshop, facilitiated by the Unlocking Potential Project, covers a wide range of volunteer management issues relevant to the support of older volunteers. Courses being held in Belfast, Dungannon, Ballymena and Derry/Londonderry.
