Derry Well Women is a women's health organisation run by women for women. We are at the forefront of women's health in Northern Ireland. Derry Well Women is a space for all women young and old.

 

Derry Well Women deliver our services to you in a number of ways:

We run a range of Courses and Classes

We deliver special Programmes for: Mothers, Cancer Patients, and Victims of the Troubles

We offer Counselling Services

We facilitate Support Groups for e.g. Breastfeeding Mothers, Eating Disorders, Coping with Cancer.

We run a Listening Ear service

We provide Clinics e.g. Menopause Support, Podiatry.

Our approach is holistic because we believe our well being is determined by a combination of physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, social, political, economic and environmental considerations.

OCN LEVEL III COUNSELLING SKILLS (Endorsed Provision)

This course offers participants the opportunity to learn about counselling/helping within a community/helping within a community setting. This is a daytime course beginning on October 19th 2021. It will run for 20 weeks x 5 hours and will be offered on a Tuesday from 10am to 3pm.
