Tender for Facilitator Services Community Connect: Support Initiative Grace Family Centre, Ardoyne, North Belfast
Grace Women's Development Limited

"Community Connect: Support Initiative" – Bridging Divides, Strengthening Community Grace Family Centre is proud to host the "Community Connect: Support Initiative," a transformative 12-month pilot project aimed at enhancing community cohesion in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast. This initiative offers a vibrant array of animation events and wraparound services, designed to welcome and support community members from diverse backgrounds.
Over the past 2.5 years, we've seen a growing number of residents from Upper Ardoyne and Glenbryn engaging with the Centre. Yet, the interface wall behind our building remains a challenge to inclusivity. This project is committed to breaking down barriers and fostering a shared space where relationships can flourish.
Thanks to funding from the Urban Villages Programme, the project will focus on three interconnected goals:
-
Fostering Positive Community Identities
-
Building Community Capacity
-
Improving the Physical Environment
Let’s work together to create a stronger, united community for everyone.
PLEASE NOTE: As per the tender document, the project will now run from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, instead of the originally mentioned 15 months. This adjustment is due to delays in the application process.
