Work with local people using the outcome star to track their life journey and putting in place an action plan to help improve their career prospects. To assist in the delivery of the Neighbourhood Renewal outputs for Training and development as contained in the N.R action plan.

 

  • To promote the work of UACF and the life coach programme
  • To recruit new clients onto the initiative
  • To manage a client caseload
  • Provide a first point of contact for groups and individuals
  • Discuss with clients their situation, values, attitudes and well-being.
  • Help local people set and achieve suitable goals for change through positive interaction.
  • Use questioning techniques and listening skills to help people identify areas for development.
  • Develop group work to enhance skills in overcoming barriers and setbacks
  • help clients stay motivated and committed
  • support health and well-being, social skills, educational and career skills, to help guide the progress of the client
  • develop action plans for clients and monitor and evaluate their progress
  • work closely with statutory and voluntary sector services available in your area, to provide essential skills and other accredited qualifications.  
  • To support the UACF Neighbourhood Renewal Officer in the delivery of the relevant actions/priorities (Training, education and Well Being) within the Action Plan.
  • Keep up to date records
  • Prepare monthly reports for UACF
  • Work alongside programmes/projects within the UACF.
  • Develop and support affiliated groups attached to the UACF
