We are currently seeking: Fulltime Qualified Generalist Advisors
Essential Criteria:
Completion of the Citizens Advice Adviser Training Programme (ATP), Adviser NI - Level 4 Certificate and Extended Certificate in Providing Social Security Advice, or Law Centre NI OCN Level 3 Certificate in Generalist Advice.
At least 9 months post qualification experience in providing welfare advice in a similar setting.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of GDPR and the importance of client confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial. You should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to build relationships at all levels, perform well under pressure, and be an effective team player.
Additional Qualities and Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills to analyse complex situations and provide effective solutions.
Proficiency with relevant software and tools, such as Advice Pro and Microsoft 365.Empathy and compassion to understand and support clients' needs.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases and tasks efficiently.
A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest developments in social security advice and welfare policies.
