It is a Neighbourhood Renewal Area in the top 10% of the most disadvantaged communities in Northern Ireland.  Twinbrook is ranked 17 in the Multiple Deprivation Measure and health, education and employment attainments are low.   Saints Youth Centre attracts young people from both Twinbrook Poleglass and Lagmore housing estates. Twinbrook is part of a large urban conurbation on the outskirts of Belfast.
