We are offering benefit advice via telephone and email, this could be advising on what entitlements are available, how to access forms, how to make a fresh claim for benefits, what to do if they have problems with their benefit payments, how changes implemented by government affect their current claim, calculations of entitlements.
We can signpost on to other relevant services and for some services we can make a digital referral on claimants behalf
We are able to make referrals for food parcels, and advise on other essential services the person may be able to access during covid-19 isolation.
We are still form filling if clients need to get their PIP form submitted, and we are in contact with other partnerships working remotely throughout Belfast.
