Age Concern Causeway

As a local, independent charity formed 42 years ago we have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

We suspended our normal services 3 weeks ago and instead diverted into our "Care In Action" project.

We spent 3 weeks in preparation for our new services, one week as a pilot and implemented our services Monday 23 March. We have in place Safeguarding Policy, GDPR, Confidentiality and continually trying to make applications for Access NI checks.

We have been bulk collecting prescription medication, for example one person collects perhaps 30 deliveries resulting in 29 less people out of their homes and standing in a pharmacy queue. Medication is then taken to our charity office and a route plan is then arranged for the volunteers involved.
