BBC Children in Need have reopened their Main and Small Grants programmes and will be hosting online funding information sessions for representatives from organisations who are considering applying.

As part of activities and events to mark 100 years of the BBC in Northern Ireland, a special series of BBC roadshows are taking place at locations across the region. Downpatrick is the next destination for BBC Comes to Town 2024 from 21-23 May. There will be outside broadcasts, school visits and a host of other activities to enjoy. This year-long initiative has been developed in partnership with Libraries NI and local libraries will be a broadcast and production centre for much of what is taking place.

This event will primarily focus on reduce, reuse and repair and welcome people of all levels of interest. hosted by Co Antrim CountrySide Custodians in Ballyclare townhall We will even have FREE pollinator plants available that have been propogated by our members and peat free compost so come along with your planters and do a bit of planting on the day 🌎💚 There will be tons to do so bring the family along and get excited about what you can do to help the environment 🌻🐝

Belfast Book Festival makes a welcome return from 10 - 13 June with an online programme of live events for book lovers, covering everything from love and politics to Cinderella as a zombie!

Belfast Boys is physical dance theatre for boys only.  DU Dance NI are delighted we now have a new group for younger boys aged 7 - 11 years, in addition to our current group aged 12 - 16 years.   Weekly sessions start soon on Saturday 18th September.

Do you know any boys aged 12 to 16 who are looking to try physical dance theatre or work on their dance skills? Well we have spaces on our Senior #BelfastBoys Summer Sessions this July where they can do just that.

A great chance for boys to come along and try out dance and movement in a fun and friendly environment!
