Southern Area Hospice Services (SAHS) provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern Trust Area of Northern Ireland, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and AIDS. Our aim is to provide the best quality of life for our patients and their families.

Our services include our In Patient Unit, Out Patient Clinics in Newry, Craigavon and Dungannon, Day Hospice Units in Newry and Dungannon, a Palliative Care team inDaisyHillHospital, the Donaldson Counselling and Therapy Centre, Home Care, Social Work team, and a Community Liaison Nurse. Through these services, care is provided by a multi-disciplinary specialist team consisting of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, chaplains, social workers and complementary therapists, pharmacists, dieticians and occupational therapist.  The team work closely together through careful assessment and care delivery to help patients, and their families and friends, ‘live every moment’ and get the most from their lives.

All our services are provided free of charge and we rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing our special care.  For more information please visit our website which has a wealth of information about our services, how to donate and more ways to support us. Together we can help others.
