Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) is a faith-based charity with over 130 partnership projects across the UK, including a local hub in Northern Ireland (ROCNI). ROC aims to encourage community transformation by creating strategic partnerships. Our mission is to empower and equip ‘people of goodwill to work towards safer, kinder communities’.

ROC has a proven track record of bringing together statutory agencies, the police, fire service, housing associations, churches and community groups, for practical on the ground change. With five locally-based projects in Derriaghy, Larne, Newtownabbey and North Belfast, ROC is making a significant difference to communities in Northern Ireland. Our volunteer-led projects work in partnership to reduce social needs – four ROC Café youth drop-ins benefit over 100 young people each week whilst ROC Care Rathcoole supports isolated older people through weekly visits and phone-calls.
