NOW Group, a social enterprise that supports people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future, are celebrating winning two awards at the Social Enterprise NI Awards held at the Stormont Hotel on Friday night.

“Just because someone has a learning difficulty doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of working.” That is the message from Gillian Harvey whose daughter Natasha is a catering trainee with social enterprise NOW Group in their cafe The Bobbin.

NOW Group, a social enterprise that supports people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future, has won the title of Social Enterprise of the Year at the Belfast Business Awards hosted by Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

The official reopening of The Bobbin social enterprise café coincides with a brand new tourist attraction being unveiled at Belfast City Hall on Monday, 15 May.

The Bobbin social enterprise cafe reopened its doors at Belfast City Hall on Monday 24th April with a new look and a new menu! The reopening brings social enterprise back into the heart of Belfast city centre.
