The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body for people involved in housing, with over 20,000 members across the UK and worldwide. Many of our members work in, and are key decision makers in practice, in housing organisations, housing associations, local authorities and the private sector. Our membership in Northern Ireland, currently at over 550 individuals is now at its highest level ever; demonstrating the commitment of professionals to their development, and to the evolving housing agenda in Northern Ireland. The CIH in Northern Ireland supports its members and other professionals across the sectors to enhance housing practice through events, seminars, training opportunities and a forthcoming Housing Awards.
