Playwork Qualification Survey

As a result of changes introduced by City and Guilds at the end of 2024, the availability of Playwork qualifications is currently severely limited across Northern Ireland, impacting negatively on the play-based School-Age Childcare sector.

In response, PlayBoard is working with Southern Regional College to identify a new provider for Playwork training across the region. This requires an indication of potential future training course uptake and to support this, we are asking employers to provide an indication of potential training need.

In order to secure a new provider, an indication of future uptake from at least 10 employers across the region is required. Your participation in this survey will be instrumental in ensuring that Playwork qualifications continue to be available and accessible to those working in the sector.
