The available positions are:

Sales and Marketing Assistant: This role is perfect for someone with a passion for engaging with clients and generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing sales leads, reaching out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and meetings, and keeping detailed records of all sales activities. In addition, you’ll manage our digital media channels, create engaging marketing content, and represent Wee Chicks CIC at industry events. This role is key to driving the growth of our childcare services across Northern Ireland.

Marketing and Admin Assistant: In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our external marketing agency to refine and implement our marketing strategy for the next six months. You’ll assist in managing our social media channels, creating and organising marketing content, and supporting various administrative tasks. This position also involves working closely with the sales team to help develop new business leads and maintain accurate records of all sales opportunities. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven organisation.

About the JobStart Scheme:

The JobStart Scheme is an initiative designed to help individuals aged 50-64 enter or re-enter the workforce through six-month paid job opportunities with local employers. This programme offers participants the chance to develop employment skills, enhance their CV, and increase their confidence while gaining practical work experience. By the end of the scheme, participants may be offered permanent employment, have the skills to find another job, or pursue further education or training.
