Brighten up Blue Monday!

Blue Monday is the term given to what has been claimed to be the most depressing day of the year. It usually falls on the third Monday of January, which is 15 January this year.

Bad weather, debt levels, lower motivation and failing new year resolutions are some of the reasons suggested for making this date the gloomiest of the year.

AWARE wants to brighten up Blue Monday!

We are calling on schools and businesses to wear something bright that will cheer up someone's day. You could wear a bright tie or socks, sunglasses, a funky wig, or anything bright and colourful to help make each other smile.
