Fermanagh Community Transport

Volunteer Role Purpose
FCT Volunteers give their time freely for the benefit of others, using their own car, to provide essential door-to-door transport for passengers identified by Fermanagh Community Transport as having difficulties using public or other forms of transport.
- Do you like driving?
- Do you like helping people?
- Do you have time to spare?
If you have answered yes to each of the above questions, then our volunteering opportunity may just be for you. You will be helping some of our most vulnerable elderly and disabled members make essential trips to GP surgeries, hospital, shops, friends and social activities. These trips are 'life-lines' to our members for whom public transport is simply not an option, nor do they have access to their own private transport. In this role, you can make a real difference to the quality of life of your passengers. You'll be opening up opportunities to our vulnerable members who otherwise would be unable to get out and about and take part within their community and society.
If you are interested, please check out the Volunteer Role Description and Specification, as well as the Volunteer Application Form and Volunteer Equality Monitoring Form. Alternatively, please feel free to ring the office and speak informally to Lara on 028 66 324260 or email lara@fermanaghcommunitytransport.com.
We'd love to hear from you and welcome you as part of a great team!
