Support Worker (Waking Nights)

Morning Star House is a 39 bed homeless hostel in Belfast which supports single male homeless individuals aged 18+ who suffer from a range of issues including alcohol and substance misuse. Funded by the NIHE Supporting People programme to provide support to clients. We do this through our active commitment to ensure that clients are fully involved in all decisions surrounding their support. The service is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days a year and we have onsite support workers as well as resettlement support to promote clients working towards independent rehousing in the community.  

We are looking for individuals who are passionate and committed to join our support team to help make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by homelessness.

You will be able to build effective relationships with clients, you will understand the challenges and needs of people experiencing homelessness, and have skills and knowledge in providing housing-related support.
