To provide spiritual, pastoral, and visionary leadership for the congregation of CFC Antrim as we pursue our church vision to be a Christ centred community, dedicated to impacting Antrim, Ireland and the nations with the love of God in the power of the HS

Main Duties:

  • Connect with, love, serve and pastorally care for the people in the site.
  • In the context of Antrim site and in conjunction with wider CFC, create programs and events to fulfil the vision of the church, based on an up-to-date knowledge of needs, issues and relevant good practice.
  • Communicate direction and vision ensuring alignment to CFC’s vision and values in all practices.
  • Mobilise and facilitate the church to embrace and own CFC’s mission.
  • Take a lead role in shaping and directing Sunday services including regular teaching.
  • Oversee special services and events.
  • Deliver effective pastoral care in the site encouraging a culture of mutual care within the congregation.
  • Oversee all ministries including Connect, worship, kids and youth, Alpha etc.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements in respect of site, buildings, health and safety, safeguarding, risk management and data protection rules are adhered to, and all the necessary policies are in place.
  • Network with other churches in the area and other joint church ventures
  • Liaise and coordinate with Charitable organisations using the church building eg Foodbank, Dreamscheme, Links Counselling etc.
  • Establish and build relationship with the local schools in the area.
  • Lead and develop a core team that will facilitate and grow the work of the site.
  • Encourage the growth and development of new leaders in site.
  • Oversee and liaise with ministry heads.
  • Take responsibility for own personal and professional development.
