- The scheduling admin officer will manage the daily booking requests from members for the day-to-day delivery of Bridge Transports accessible transport services. The admin officer will be responsible for receiving calls and recording booking information and entering data to our computer system and maintaining logs and other relevant information.
- The admin officer will update the membership database, and process and reconcile completed weekly driver’s schedules.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. To co-ordinate and maintain the computerised booking system for the service, including receiving and logging bookings, route scheduling and the preparation of driver daily schedules.
2. To use the in-house radio system, phones and computer system efficiently to communicate regularly with drivers.
3. To provide drivers with required information to carry out their driving duties.
4. To update bus maintenance files and ensure all vehicle check sheets are filed and vehicles are booked for any servicing required with our preferred list of agents.
5. To liaise closely with the administration manager on related dispatch duties.
6. To always provide a caring and supportive service to members.
7. To undertake any relevant training as may be required by Bridge Accessible Transport.
8. To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by Bridge Accessible Transport in keeping with the status of the post.

Proven experience within an administration environment, preferably transport related.
Computer literate with good keyboard skills.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Salary: The salary entitlement is £20,930
Hours of work - 35 hours, excluding meal breaks, over a 5 day period, between the hours of 8.30am & 5.00pm
Location: The position is based within the Bridge Accessible Transport office 18 Balliniska Road, Springtown Industrial Estate, Derry/Londonderry
Leave Entitlement - Begins at 20 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidays per year. The leave year runs from 1st Jan - 31st December
Probation - This post carries a 4 month probationary period.
