To co-ordinate the day-to-day planning, management, and delivery of ‘The Crafting Legacies’ Heritage Outreach programme at the newly restored & extended Courthouse building in Bushmills, facilitating community engagement with heritage-focused activities.
The Heritage Outreach Officer will be an integral member of the Courthouse delivery team, responsible for:
- Programme Development and Management: Responsible for design, management, and delivery of the Crafting Legacies heritage programme delivered through the medium of arts, crafts, and cultural activities.
- Community Engagement: Engaging with a diverse range of audiences, including schools, community groups, older peoples groups, marginalised groups and hard to reach audiences to encourage their participation in organised heritage activities.
- Participant Recruitment: Collaborating with our Communications and Events Officer to develop promotional materials and strategies to attract a diverse participant base.
- Coordination and Oversight: Manage and coordinate appointment of all artists, facilitators, and volunteers involved in delivery of programme activities.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintaining programme records ensuring full compliance with all financial, reporting and audit requirements & Establishing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to achieve all objectives, milestones, and targets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Respond to general enquiries from the public and stakeholders.
- Administrative Duties: Undertake routine office duties related to project management.
