Head of Finance

Hours: 28-35 per week (to be agreed with the successful applicant)

(Monday to Thursday 08:30-16:30 & Friday 08:30-15:15)

Key Result Areas:

• Management of the Financial Systems, Processes and Information
• Management of the non-Treasury Cash Function
• Support to Service and Project Staff undertaking Finance Functions
• Liaison with External Bodies
• Staff Support & Development
• Personal Training and Development

You will have (essential):

• RQF level 5 Diploma for Accounting Technicians or equivalent full /part qualification of a recognized professional accountancy body
• Experience of operating a fully integrated accounting package to final Trial Balance and management accounts stage
• Experience of cash management including bank reconciliations
• Experience of payroll processing or management
• Experience of staff management
• A full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
