Holywood Family Trust are recruiting Bank Sessional Counsellors, to be added to our bank list, for our Counselling project HFT Community Counselling (BACP Accredited Service).
The project provides confidential counselling to adults who are 18+.
We are recruiting Sessional Counsellors to be added to our Sessional Counsellor Bank List, with work offered on an 'As Needed Basis', subject to funding and demand.
HFT Community Counselling was established in 2006 and is a BACP Accredited Service. We offer counselling sessions to adults who are 18+ years.
Essential qualifications & training/Experience :
- Recognised counselling training to level 4 or above, with a minimum of 150 hours with clients.
- BACP Registered Member or NCS Accredited Registrant Membership.
- Accredited with BACP/NCS or working towards BACP/NCS Accreditation.
- Experience/Understanding of working as part of an organisation and team.
Key responsibilities include:
- To provide a professional service to clients at all times ensuring the highest possible standards in relation to confidentiality.
- To follow safeguarding issues that arise during counselling sessions.
- To uphold all HFT Community Counselling organisational policies and procedures.
- Acceptance and adherence to HFT's policies and procedures and ethos relating to the principles of the Faithworks Charter.
- To adhere at all times to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
- To keep written or computerised records.
- To attend external clinical supervision 1.5 hours each month in line with BACP requirements.
- To attend all team meetings.
- To complete required training and contribute to Continuous Professional Development.
