To set up and facilitate community based education groups to encourage parental involvement in Relationship, Sexuality Education of children by promoting increased openness, positive attitudes and a more knowledgeable and responsible approach to Relations
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To network with statutory and voluntary organisations who have potential or actual interest in FPA's community education work with parents.
- To identify and set up groups of parents to engage in group work.
- To use group work approaches to increase participants confidence and self esteem in order to achieve the project’s aim and objectives.
- To maintain a database for the project.
- To evaluate the workshops
- To help ensure all Speakeasy administration is up to date with regard to Open College Network accreditation process
- To prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly progress reports.
- To contribute to producing a final project report for distribution to the stakeholders and other interested agencies.
GENERAL
- Undertake any other duties, which are consistent with the overall responsibilities of the post.
- To contribute to the overall development of sexual health work in FPA
- To ensure that the FPA's equal opportunities policy is reflected in all aspects of work.
- Be available to work evenings and possible weekends.
