Community Based Conflict & Legacy Programmes: North Belfast
Bridge of Hope - Alliance AvenueHelp offered
North Belfast’s experience of conflict & trauma is significant & is borne out by poor health & life indicators. We are actively engaged in researching the needs of victims & survivors of the conflict so that we can better advocate their needs at a strategic level. We have developed with UU a community-university human rights programme that speaks to people whose lives have been changed by conflict.
Outreach sites include: Shankill Women’s Centre, Falls Women’s Centre, Tar Anall, Sally Gardens Community Centre in Poleglass, GRACE in Ardoyne.
