U3a

U3a is an organisation for retired or semi-retired people. members share many educational, creative and leisure activities. By sharing our knowledge, skills and experience we learn from one another, making friendships along the way. In Upper Bann u3a we have 315 members. We have over 20 active groups e.g. walking, cycling, table tennis, sewing, knitting, flowers and crafts, photography, luncheon club, theatre, cinema and concert outings, coffee mornings, and an annual Christmas lunch and BBQ. All of our groups are voluntarily run by members for the benefit of other members.

To join we have a small annual membership of £12 to be renewed in April. Visitors can have two taster sessions before deciding to join.
