Victim supportThe Northern Ireland Phoenix Project was established to promote, advocate and address the needs of former security service personnel and their families, who have suffered as a result of the violence perpetrated during the ‘Troubles’.
The support the Project can provide includes welfare advice, a befriending service to those who are in need of assistance with hospital visits, or those in need of a bit of company and a listening ear. The befriending service is very close to the heart of the Phoenix Project and has helped and continues to help those in our community. Beneficiaries often find that befriending acts as a gateway towards taking up others services provided by the Project. These are services like complementary therapies, counselling and moving towards peace and reconciliation within ones self. The majority of these services and courses take place in a safe and friendly local NI Phoenix Project Office at a time that is convenient to you.
